Location can’t be better! We loved passing through the red gates across the street to explore the all the gardens, temple complexes, and tea houses. We even tried some of the hiking paths up the mountain. You are also right on the best street in Gion, with fun shopping and food. We found other tourist areas, like the Nishiki market and the Ninen Zara path, to be an easy walk away. The staff was great and we liked trying all the recommendations for different treats in the area. The beds were comfy and we enjoyed the extra room and the large dining area to eat our snacks on. I will definitely stay again!

The location was the main reason for booking this hotel and it didn’t disappoint. We finished at the end of the day from visiting Kiyomizu dera and could just walk to our room and woke up early to explore Sannezaka and ninenzaka before the crowds. The kitchen needed some butter knives but was well equipped for breakfast other than that. As with all our Japan trip accommodation cleanliness, service and room/bathroom were excellent

Regina

Great location to access the major attractions, Geon School, Museum, Temple, shops and restaurants. The early morning free tour around the neighbourhood was great. You need to book early because our first choice date had been fully booked. Hotel is very clean as if it was just built. You must remove your shoes when entering your hotel room. Everything is well organized and clean.

The room was very spacious and very nicely decorated. The kitchen, sitting area, toilet and bathroom were modern and beautiful. Right next to the room was a room with washing machines and dryers, which was a bonus for us. The staff was very kind and helped with any problem that arose. The hotel is in an excellent location and everything is modern and aesthetic.

Dafna

Located in downtown Kyoto, in front of the Yasaka Shrine, and on a popular shopping street. Offered free ice, water, coffee & a bread maker in the room (I did not use this amenity). Room was set up with a low bed on the floor and a sofa cushions that could be arranged to be a second bed. Felt a bit more traditional Japanese but still very modern.
